The CARS program also known as the Cash for Clunkers program has ended.

If you did not qualify for a CARS government rebate, there are still many factory based incentives and rebates that can reduce the cost of owning a new car.  Dealers will be busy processing the sales created by the NHTSA CARS program in August but then it will be back to business.
