This is great in terms of search engines. Nada seems to annoy against them than this.Amusingly enough, this is exactly what was talked about several years ago at the big hack con about google in 1994!
This is good in terms of search engines. Nothing seems to rag against them compared to that!Amusingly enough, this is exactly was talked about several years prior at the blackhat about google some number of years ago in 1994!

Hey mate. I don’t read many blogs, but yours is of thelittle I read.Have a great day!
It’s always pleasant to stumble onto a new site this terrific. I will be coming back for sure.
Will there be another Cash For Clunkers Program in 2010? I hope so because I need a car and my old car is costing me in repairs and everytime I have it repair something else needs repair.
Thank God for this wonderful program. I would have never been able to buy a brand new car. My 1999 Ford piece of crap Windstar was about to blow up and I had no money for a new one or a down payment. I got 4500 for my clunker and another 4500 in dealer rebates. I paid 1/2 price for my 2009 Dodge Caliber. There are alot of haters that didn’t agree with this rebate, but this really helped me and I am soooo appreciative for the blessing. Thank you Obama!!!
Please bring this program back, our economy needs this again. I did qualified for the Cash for Clunkers but it was over before the chance to look into it. I can not afford the large monthly payment without the rebate. It helps reduce the payment of a new car so it is do able. My car was purchase new and is 15 years old and really need to get a new one. Bringing back this bill would be a good for the economy and help me get into a new car that is badly needed. Husband is disabled and not a option otherwise.
Thanks,
Please bring this program back, our economy needs this again
I had searched around the CARS website which I thought was very easy to use and informative. I came up with a 2009 Chevy Equinox as a trade up. When a car was finally found I was called to Thornton Chevrolet in Atlanta. While I was there I saw the 2010 Equinox and fell head over heads for it. That was the car I wound up buying. Plus, I got $3,500 trade in for my 1995 Mercury Village that had 315k miles! I doubt that I would have gotten $100 for it on the open market. I now have a great new car that should last me through the next couple of more years.
Update: My dealership just called me and said “No one’s taking your car away, your deal just got approved.” (I bought my car on July 31st.) Thank you to all the people at Walser Honda in Burnsville, MN. They were wonderful and the only good part of this whole experience…aside from actually getting the car. They did not hold my car hostage. I hope you all get your cars soon.
I haven’t received notification that my deal has been paid (and my dealership said they’d contact me) but after reading everyone’s negative experiences, I’d say mine was pretty good. I love having a safe, reliable and economical car and I’m thankful for this program, as I would not have been able to get a brand new car without it.
I took advantage of cash for clunkers and had a very positive experience. My ’97 Nissan Pathfinder was a great vehicle…still ran good, but it was starting to rust out and was getting terrible mileage.
My wife and I needed to replace it with an all wheel drive vehicle and in the best interest of getting something that gets good mileage we went with the new Subaru Forester. It gets 20 mpg in town and 26 mpg on the highway, right now we are averaging at least 23 mpg which is almost a solid 10 mpg better than the Pathfinder was getting (even though it was rated at 15 mpg avg).
Matthews Auto dealerships here in upstate NY were great to work with and never hesitated to complete the deal…they didn’t worry about getting “their” money, they just got the deal done. Smart company, smart ownership…
I took advantage of cash for clunkers & was extremely pleased. My old ’98 Town & Country had served me well but was on it’s last wheels. The most stress producing moments of the entire transaction was the final drive to the dealership. My clunker pulled through & we made it! After buying American the last 20 years, I found that the Toyota Highlander Hybrid best fit my needs. It drives like a charm & I hope to get 10+ years out of it. Also, contrary to some comments I’ve heard, the only parts of relinquished clunkers that have to be destroyed are the engine & drive train (as mentioned on this site). So, long live recycling!
Traded in my old 1995 BMW 540i6 for a Subaru Outback. Car was delivered within days of finalizing paperwork. Quirk Subaru is an “okay” dealership at best, but at least they followed the rules with delivery.
We just got notification that our car dealer recieved our rebate and we can go pick up our check today (we purchased our car while the second round of funding was awaiting approval). We had a good experience, we traded in our 1996 ford ecnoline van with 375,000 miles on it and purchased a 09 Dodge Caliber (acutally built 20 miles from us), we paid 15,000 for a 23,000 car…we had decided going in that we were going to take advantage of the Chrysler rebates with or without the CARS rebate if we found the right car. We were planning on buying a new car in the spring, this just pushed our schedule up a bit. The biggest problem we had was finding a car that we liked that was in stock at a dealer.
Worked out fine for me. I would not not have bought a new car at any tume in the near future without this incentive. MY TRADE-IN WAS A 95 MUSTANG GT. It had definitly lost it’s luster and would have required a significant finacial investment to keep it on the road. I was ready to fix but managed to combined year end discounts with the clunker rebate making my 09 Ford Focus a very inexpensive new car. Two regrets: I wish the program would have done more to ecorage buying American brand cars and I think I should have been able to buy my old car with a salvage title. It was shame to crush the many good used parts on this car which could have benefited people who can’t afford a new car. Most of the criticism of this program is republican BS. Yes I took on some additional debt. I could afford it. Credit screening was very careful. It was well thought out sound decision for me.
Traded in my 1997 Ford Explorer for a 2009 Smart Car a day or so after the CARS program started. Brought in all of my paperwork for the past 5 years with the Explorer, so the whole process went very smoothly and I qualified for the full CARS rebate. I do believe that the dealership is still waiting on the feds to process my clunker, though.
I got a Elantra SE w/ auto, pinstripes, floor mats, cargo tray and mud flaps that listed for 19k— I got 4500 cluker cash, 2k reabate and 2500 off from the dealer. My walk OTD price was 11k. Financed for 36 months at 3.5% interest. I picked up my car on July 24th and traded in my 1996 Ford Thunderbird that was on its last leg- she was on full empty when I coasted into the dealer parking lot!!!
Very happy with my new Focus, the deal that I got, and the dealer who sold it to me(Mike Castrucci, Alexandria, KY). Some will recognize that I was on here early trying to figure out a legit method of utilizing the CARS voucher and it worked out great for me. I couldn’t be happier. I got a $19,060 Ford Focus coupe SES for $9,600 before taxes/fees. The car is getting over 30 MPG and doesn’t have a single problem. I chose to get the most American car possible with the highest gas mileage possible out of respect for the American workers, taxpayers, and dealers and believe that the $.00000003 that each taxpayer paid on my car is well worth the investment for the economy.
I traded in a 1994 Ford Aerostar for a 2010 Subaru Forester. I had read the rules, gathered the appropriate paperwork, and done my vehicle research. When I decided on the Forester, the Subaru dealership experience (Walkers’s Renton Subaru) was very smooth. $3500 for a vehicle worth about $500. I loved the van; had it for 14 years but it was time for her to go. The finance manager told me I was only the second customer she’d had that had brought in exactly what was needed to make the transaction go easily. Doing my homework was well worth it, and the dealer was well prepared as well. Very positive experience. Now I’m going to see if I can take advantage of the Appliance Stimulus plan. Woo hoo.
I had a wonderful experience with the Cash for Clunkers Program. I educated myself with the law, searched web sites and dealerships for cars which would qualify as well as the knowledge of what my 2000 Ford Explorer estimated mpg. I made a few visits to dealerships; Nissan and Toyota. I wanted to be sure to get the full $4,500 rebate so I purchased a 2009 Nissan Altima on July 27th from Hertrich Nissan in Dover, Delaware. The dealership was wonderful. I told them what I wanted (color, interior, options, etc)they found the car and held it for me until the program went into affect on 7/24/2009. I had all the paperwork I needed for the program ready to give to the dealership. Good bye Ford Explorer; thanks for a great 9 years and a trade that was by far greater than blue book value.
